European number formats

I need to deliver a calculation result as a number on a European standard form. Can't work out how to get the formatting - HELP!

The formatting I need is, for example : 2.583,76 (whereas, obviously, in the UK this would appear as 2,583.76)

Any advice...?

advice: get the person

advice: get the person receiving the file to accept 2,583.76

other than that, you can play with your regional settings (not recommended at all)
